A Note From Your Coach...
After retiring from a thirty plus year career in education and professional leadership, I stumbled into life coaching.
I was sitting on my sofa with my dogs wondering what I was going to do next when a master life coach caught my eye as I scrolled through my iPad.
She was explaining something she called a thought model and said that thoughts create your feelings. Then she said that those feelings drive your actions. It was a full stop moment.
The thought model made so much sense to me that I wondered why nobody had ever taught it to me and why it wasn't already in our schools.
I went and got certified so that I could fully understand how to use the thought model and just as I was starting up my life and leadership coaching practice, the pandemic hit.
I knew that I had to do something to help out our educators as we all went through trying times.
I spent the next few months putting together what I knew would make a difference. Pulling from my extensive experience in education, I combined what I know about human development with what I learned from life coaching about managing our minds and emotions.
I hope that in these very difficult years that you have just gone through, you use what I am sharing with you here to experience your best year yet. đ
